ULUSOY UN CONTINUES TO REINFORCE ITS SUCCESS

According to the "Top 500 Companies in Anatolia" research, which has been keeping the pulse of production in Turkey outside the 3 big cities of the Ekonomist magazine for 20 years, Ulusoy Un rose 11 places in the list and became the 17th largest company in Anatolia. While it ranked 4th among food companies, it was positioned as the leading company in its sector and among the companies included in the list from Samsun. 

The results of this year's "Anatolia's Largest 500 Companies" research, which has been conducted by Ekonomist magazine for 20 years, have been announced. According to the list prepared with 2022 data of companies with headquarters in cities other than Istanbul, Ankara and Izmir, Ulusoy Un became the 17th largest company in Anatolia with a net sales amount of 14 billion 318 million in 2022. Ulusoy Un, which was ranked 28th on the list last year, rose 11 places in the list and left its mark on the 20th year of the research. Ulusoy Un, which ranks 1st on the list among flour companies, is positioned as the 4th among food companies and the leading company in Samsun according to the cities ranking. Ulusoy Un, which is Turkey's 247th largest exporter according to the TİM1000 list, Turkey's 273rd largest industrial enterprise according to the ISO500 list and the largest company in its sector, is 69th according to the Fortune500 list and Turkey's largest exporter according to Capital magazine's Capital500 research. It ranks as the 84th largest company. Ulusoy Un, which recently made its first sukuk issuance within the scope of access to alternative financing channels and continues its investments in renewable energy sources, produces 2,085 tons/day in Samsun 50. Yıl Production Facility, 400 tons/day in Çorlu Production Facility and Antakya Production with the purchase of a new factory in Hatay. Its facility has a production capacity of 275 tons/day, for a total of 2,760 tons/day. In addition, with the participation of Söke in Ulusoy Un with 2 production centers with a capacity of 1,440 tons/day in 2022, Ulusoy Un's total production capacity reached 4,200 tons/day, becoming the leader of the Turkish flour market and by far the largest flour producer. Making a statement on the subject, Ulusoy Un's Chairman of the Board of Directors, Dr. Eren Günhan Ulusoy said, “We started to crown the results of 2022, in which we made important breakthroughs, by ranking at the top of Turkey's most important lists. 2023 was a year for us where we grew even more than 2022. When we look at the third quarter figures, we achieved a consolidated turnover of 24 billion TL, an increase of 75 percent compared to the same period last year. The total rate of our international sales was announced as 74 percent according to the 2023 third quarter figures. As Ulusoy Un, we increased the total number of countries we exported to 101 countries this year. "2024 will continue to be a year in which we grow by increasing our successes," he said.
