ULUSOY UN RANKS 487 IN THE TOP 1000 EXPORTER COMPANIES IN TURKEY!

Turkish Exporters Assembly (TIM) announced the first 1000 exporters of 2017. Accordingly, Ulusoy Un ranked 487th in the general ranking and 35th in the sectoral ranking.

While the total export figure of the companies decreased by 1.13 percent last year to 81.4 billion dollars, the automotive sector was the leader with a share of 27.2 percent, and Istanbul became the first on the basis of provinces with 434 companies.

While the export revenue from Germany, which is the most exported country, increased by 4.3 percent and reached 14 billion dollars, Iraq was the market that contracted the most among the top 10 countries.

TİM President Büyükekşi said, “There are only 10 companies on the list that have passed the 1 billion dollar threshold. Our target for 2023 is for 50 of our companies to exceed the export threshold of 1 billion dollars. In order to reach the target, we must export products with high added value and invest more in R&D, innovation, design and branding.

Büyükekşi: “The year-end forecast of the first 1000 companies for the dollar rate was 3.86, and the Euro rate forecast was 4.11. This year, Turkey's exports are estimated to increase by 9.5 percent and reach 156 billion dollars.
