ULUSOY UN RISES TO 301 RANK IN TURKEY'S TOP 1000 EXPORTER COMPANIES

Turkish Exporters Assembly (TIM) announced the top 1000 exporters of 2015. Accordingly, Ulusoy Un, which was in the 513th place among 1000 exporting companies last year, rose to the 301st place this year.

Some remarkable data about the first 1000 exporting companies announced by TİM are as follows:

Considering the Top 500 Companies, the average number of employees was 790 in 2014, while this figure increased to 932 last year. This resulted in a significant increase in employment. While the number of employees in the second 500 companies was 417, there was no significant difference compared to the previous year.

Among the top 1000 exporters, the Marmara Region stood out with 593 companies, followed by the Aegean Region with 138 companies and the Central Anatolia Region with 83 companies. The province with the highest export in 2015 was Istanbul with a total export of 40.8 billion dollars. Bursa was the second with 6.3 billion dollars and Kocaeli was the third with 6.2 billion dollars.
