ULUSOY UN WILL INCREASE ITS CAPACITY WITH NEW INVESTMENTS

Ulusoy Un, which is among the biggest exporters of Samsun, will strengthen its production capacity with its factory in Samsun Food OSB, which it plans to put into service this year. Eren Günhan Ulusoy, President of Ulusoy Un’s Board of Directors, evaluated Samsun's potential and the sector for the World.

Emphasizing that Samsun has always taken an important share in Turkey's total trade with its location, Eren Günhan Ulusoy said that the city is the locomotive of the region as well as Turkey's gateway to the north. Pointing out that Samsun's industrial production rate has remained at a low level compared to other provinces in recent years, however, Ulusoy stated that more importance and incentives should be given to OIZs in particular. Noting that this situation will increase the number of businesses and employment, Ulusoy said, "Our city, which has made a very successful development in tourism and has received the return of the investments made over the years, has to show the same development in other industrial areas."

Eren Günhan Ulusoy, who also touched upon the investments they made during the year, gave the following information about the new investments: “We have two important investments that we have made recently. Our two licensed warehouses in Çorum Alaca and Yozgat Sorgun will continue to provide our farmers with safe and healthy storage services in the new harvest season. Our new flour factory investment in Samsun Food OSB, whose machinery assembly works continue, has come to an end. With this facility, which will start production in the second half of the year, we will bring a brand new facility with the latest technology to both our city and our country."
