Ulusoy Un is preparing to establish a licensed warehouse in order to increase its active role in the global market. Currently exporting to 82 countries on five continents, the company has started work to build two licensed warehouses with a total capacity of 100 thousand tons in Samsun and Çorum. Eren Günhan Ulusoy, President of Ulusoy Un’s Board of Directors, said, "We have started the project work to buy the 60 thousand-ton Yozgat Sorgun part of the '1 Million Tons Cereal Warehouses Rental Tender' by TMO. With this project, we aim to increase the total storage capacity to over 200 thousand tons. Licensed warehouses We are also establishing it within the scope of the relevant study." said.


Eren Günhan Ulusoy, explaining that they serve the sector with two factories with a wheat processing capacity of 500 tons per day in Samsun and 400 tons per day in Çorlu, with a total wheat processing capacity of 900 tons, said that they have a grain storage capacity of more than 100 thousand tons. He underlined that they are active in the foreign market.


Pointing out that they are conducting research in growing markets such as Africa, the Middle East and the Far East in order to increase their exports, Ulusoy stated that in 2015, exports increased by more than 50 percent on the basis of tonnage. Noting that in the said period, they obtained an export income of 52 million dollars for 170 thousand tons, Ulusoy said, "We have a market share of 1.5 percent in domestic production and 6 percent in exports. With our factory investment in Samsun Food OSB for capacity increase, 900 tons of wheat per day. Our processing capacity will increase to 1,500 tons." he said.
